Kazuki Nakajima and Nico Rosberg were greeted by thousands of fans at their official autograph signing session this afternoon. This being Nico’s home race, there was a lot of support for the man born in Wiesbaden, but Kazuki’s ever-increasing army of admirers were there too. “There are a lot of Japanese people here,” he says. “It’s always nice to know you have support out there.”
Celebrity Masterchef. The five German drivers at Hockenheim – Vettel, Rosberg, Heidfeld, Glock and Sutil – had a bet today concerning the outcome of the race. The worst placed driver will carry out a forfeit, which, in Nico’s case, is to cook for the entire AT&T Williams team at the next race. Sounds great, unless you’ve heard about his ability behind the stove…

No stubble trouble for Kazuki Nakajima. When asked today whether he preferred to grow a beard or to shave, our man replied: “shave – not that a beard is an option”. How lucky we are sponsored by Philips Shavers, eh?
Balbir Singh, Michael Schumacher’s former physio, is back in the paddock this weekend. His return to the sport came about after realising “F1 is my life” and he’s agreed to work with Giancarlo FIsichella at Force India for the remainder of the year.
